FNB Namibia wanted to create greater awareness of their foreign exchange services offering. They briefed sociality to develop a Google display campaign that would specifically target internet users traveling to and from Namibia. The ads were served on the Google Display Network targeting users in the designated markets, as well as in Namibia.
Over a period of three months, 3 million impressions were generated with a total of 14,500 clicks through to the foreign exchange services on the FNB Namibia web site. A click through rate (CTR) of 0.5% was achieved, 51% higher than the international CTR for financial services.
